Creating custom entry forms works.
Situation
Situation:
When creating a custom Entry form and adding fields, there is an option to make the field required.

Resolution
At the time of this writing all this option does is add an "*" asterisk next to the field header name. It does not cause any kind of enforcement on the field when an end user is filling in the Entry.
Workaround:
The only workaround at this time is to create a custom JSP script that would be added to the entry and run some form a check on all the fields to enforce the required state. This script would have to be custom created for every custom Entry definition using required fields, for this reason it is not yet designed into the product.
