Text missing in message body with reply's sent through the Exchange Gateway.

A GroupWise message body is lost when a GroupWise user reply's to an Exchange users email.  Original message sent from Outlook using RTF with the setting "Use Microsoft OfficeWord to edit email messages" is checked.  The same problem will occur when RTF text is copied from MS Word into Outlook.

Another variation with html is several reply's or forwarded messages between a GroupWise and Outlook user.  The oldest threads of the messages are lost.


Fixed in Exchange Gateway code dated 7/14/08 or newer.
A test copy of the code dated later then 7/14 may be obtained by opening a Support Request with Novell technical support.

Steps to Duplicate:

For RTF: In Outlook copy data from Word or WordPad into Outlook and send the message to GroupWise. When the GroupWise user replies to this message the body is lost.

For HTML: Send HTML replies or forward multiple times between a GroupWise User and Exchange. Eventually the oldest threads of the email will be missing.
