Situation
1. Map an NSS volume using an AFP client
2. Restart ndsd on the server
3. When ndsd is up again reconnect to the same NSS volume from the same AFP client
4. The first attempt to login fails with -625 error (as seen in a dstrace or the messages file)
5. The second attempt is successful.

Resolution
If you restart eDirectory, ensure that you also restart the AFP
service.
If there are clustered AFP resources on that server (node) then offline and online the AFP resources.
If AFP is not clustered on that server then use the rcnovell-afptcpd restart command.
If there are clustered AFP resources on that server (node) then offline and online the AFP resources.
