Situation
Setting Alarm to take any action does not work.
e.g. Configuring an alarm for an appointment in the calendar to launch an application. When we configure to get it to launch a batch file which will run GWsend. Also tried to get it to open an executable, document, image.

Resolution
It has been fixed in GroupWise 7 Support Pack 3 Hot Patch 2 and later version.
Additional Information
Steps to duplicate,
1. Create a new appointment
2. Set the alarm for the appointment.
3. When setting the alarm, specify an application to launch in the "Program to launch when alarm goes off" box.
GroupWise does not initiate with the program or File specified in the Alarm.
