Situation

Subject is blank when "Save As" is selected to save mail in GroupWise Library
Mail saved via "Save As" in GroupWise Library results in a blank or missing subject
Mail subject missing in GroupWise Library

Regression
It was working (showing the subject) in GroupWise 7 Support Pack 2 Hot Patch.
 
Steps to duplicate:
  1. Open mail in GroupWise Client.
  2. Click File | Save As | Save to "GroupWise Library".
  3. Select the Library, where the document will be stored.
  4. In the Subject, keep the original subject or change the subject.
  5. Click on "Save" and then close the mail.
  6. Go to the Documents, the document will be there and can be opened, but the subject is blank.
