Situation
Situation:
PowerPoint presentations have been uploaded to a Teaming file folder.
The presentations can be viewed and modified by several users.
When viewing the presentation Entry, users are given three options to access the file:
1. Clicking on the file to download
2. Clicking on the HTML link to view an HTML rendering of the presentation
This has been renamed to VIEW in Teaming 2.x.
3. Clicking on the EDIT link to use WebDAV to open the presentation in PowerPoint.
Symptoms:
Clicking on the file to download does not give the "Save As" dialog but attempts a WebDAV edit instead.

Resolution
Workaround Steps:
Right Click on the file and select "Save Target As".
This will bring up the desired "Save As" dialog.
Right Click on the file and select "Save Target As".
This will bring up the desired "Save As" dialog.
Sometimes in Teaming 2.x, when you use the "Save Target As" you will get prompted with a login dialog similar to the one when doing an edit. This is a login to Teaming by the application, in this case the browser. Logging in will give the "Save As" dialog.
Additional Information
Root Cause:
The reason the link in IE goes to the WebDAV URL is because Microsoft has yet to fix the powerpoint defect where they open the URL without passing along the cookies. So, we use the applet to open the file. But we do this in IE only (because that is where the defect shows up).
