Novell Identity Manager 3.5.1

Situation

What happens if the user application can't connect to the mail server? Are the emails lost?

Resolution

With UA 3.5.x and higher, If there is a problem connecting to your email server, then the message should stored in the JBoss JMS system until JAVA Mail can connect again. The messages would be stored in the JMS tables with the UA Database if necessary.
