Novell ZENworks 10 Configuration Management Inventory
Situation
On XP machines there was a certain peice of software installed that was causing the software scan to fail due to an invalid .KB index. The software scan does actually fail on a subsequent scan so when a load takes place there is no software within the xml file to be loaded and we are therefore marking the component as deleted.
Resolution
This is fixed in version 10.1 - see KB 7001200 "ZENworks 10 Configuration Management with SP1 (10.1)" which can be found at https://www.novell.com/support
