Situation
GWIA returning undeliverable with the message "(not doing groups)"
Email is addressed to <GW Dist. List name>@<Internet domain name>

Resolution
Steps to turn on the /Group switch:
1. Open the details of the GWIA object in NWAdmin or ConsoleOne
2. Select the SMTP/MIME Settings page.
3. Select the Addressing Handling tab.
4. Check the "Expand groups on incoming messages" box which will write the /group to the gwia.cfg. Restart the gwia to have it read the new setting.
Groups will begin to be split up by GWIA as individual messages.

Additional Information
The GWIA.CFG file did not contain the /Group switch, which allows GWIA to expand e-mail sent to GroupWise distribution lists.
