Situation

Error whilst loading Storage Manager:

ConsolidationServer=[servername]
Read error for file=<SYS:FACTORY\EVENT.CFG>.
E253 Unable to locate or create snapshot directory=<>. errno=899C
Unable to verify all working directories.  Program terminating.

Resolution

1) Remove server from Storage Manager Admin Console (Manage Engine> Event Servers)
2) Delete file, SYS:\FACTORY\EVENT.CFG
3) Re-add server to Storage Manager Admin Console
