Email link in Teaming does not redirect to https

Situation

Email link does not redirect to https:// even though SSL has been configured properly and the Teaming URL redirects properly to https://
Email links sent from Vibe contain port 8443.

Resolution

  1. Check the iptables on Linux server for any restriction on secure ports like 8080 and 8443.
  2. Type iptables-save, make sure there are no duplicate entries.
  3. Make sure the firewall is disabled and no configurations made for ports 8080 and 8443
  4. Re-run the installer and on the network properties make sure the first port is set to 80 and the second to 443. Restart Vibe

Notes:
In one case the iptables were hiding the secure ports 8080 and 8443. Changing the configuration of iptables on Linux Server fixed it.
