Prompted to configure eDirectory on OES2 server even though eDirectory is installed and configured

Novell Open Enterprise Server 2.0.1 (i586)
OES2 SP1

Situation

When attempting to install an OES product like LUM through OES Installation & Configuration a prompt to Install and configure eDirectory appears even though eDirectory is already installed and configured.
eDirectory was configured using ndsconfig instead of YaST.

Resolution

YaST is unaware that eDirectory is installed.  To make YaST aware that eDirectory is installed and configured do the following:
  1. vi /etc/sysconfig/novell/edirectory
  2. change Services_Configured = "no" to "yes"
  3. save and exit (:wq)
  4. exit out of OES Installation & Configuration and start again.
