OpenSUSE 11.0 GM build with XGL and java- 1_6_0- sun- plugin- 1.6.0.u6- 8.1
Situation
SSLVPN setup and working fine with all Windows and most Linux clients. Some users start reporting that they cannot connect to the SSLVPN server. They browse to their SSLVPN server URL and authenticate successfully. The SSLVPN portal gets displayed on the client and shows that the connection gets attempted from the client to the server but never seems to break out of the "Connecting..." state.
The /var/log/messages log file on the client shows...

Resolution
Install the compat-openssl097g RPMs from the OpenSuSE 11.0 package. Once the browser is restarted, the SSLVPN connection will come up fine.
