Using unset environment variable results in blank NAL window

Environment

Novell ZENworks 10 Configuration Management

Situation

If the option /c="[nalwin title]" is used for nalwin, and a non-existent environment variable is used, then the NAL window will be blank.

For example, using
nalwin /c="%CN%'s Applications"
will result in a NALWIN with a title saying "%CN%'s Applications" containing no icons

Resolution

This is fixed in version 10.1 - see KB 7001200 "ZENworks 10 Configuration Management with SP1 (10.1)" which can be found at https://www.novell.com/support

Workaround:

Make sure to use an environment variable that can be resolved, like %username%
