Environment

Novell ZENworks 11 Configuration Management Support Pack 1 - ZCM 11 SP1
Novell ZENworks Configuration Management 10.3 ZENworks Control Center - ZCC

Situation

A Device in the ZCC may have a "stop sign" or red slash through it to indicate that is has experienced errors, even after all error events have been cleared.

Resolution

For ZCM 11: This is fixed in version 11.2 - see KB 7010044 "ZENworks Configuration Management 11.2 - update information and list of fixes" which can be found at https://www.novell.com/support

For ZCM 10: This is fixed in version 10.3.4 - see KB 7008244 "ZENworks Configuration Management 10.3.4 - update information and list of fixes" which can be found at https://www.novell.com/support

After the "fixed" version of ZCM has been installed, go to the device's "Events Page" in ZCC and perform a refresh.  This will cause the device's error count to be recalculated in a few minutes.

Cause

Error counts were not properly removed from all tables.
