Cannot access mapped drive after installing ZCM agent

Environment

Novell ZENworks 10 Configuration Management

Situation

After installing the ZCM agent, Novell Client mapped drives cannot be accessed.

ERROR: "Attempt to access invalid address"

When a user attempts to access a mapped drive the above error is displayed

In HKEY_Local_Machine\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\NetworkProvider\Order, not all providers are separated with a comma on the providerorder string.

The Mapped drives in Windows Explorer show a red "X" through the mapped drive icon

Resolution

This is fixed in version 10.1 - see KB 7001200 "ZENworks 10 Configuration Management with SP1 (10.1)" which can be found at https://www.novell.com/support
Workaround: Make sure that the all providers are separated with a comma in providerorder string in the registry location, HKEY_Local_Machine\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\NetworkProvider\Order
