Situation
Symptoms:
- 663, - 618, - 723, - 785, - 6028 / - 6038 Errors Opening NDS / eDirectory Database
- 663 "Database Locked"
- 723 "Could not open local database"
- 618 "Inconsistent Database"
- 6028 / 6038 Errors loading eDirectory Database
- 785 "DIB Corruption"

Resolution
Corrective Actions:
1. Move the master replica to a R/W replica server if the problem server had any
2. Restore .NDO or .NDT files, .$du backup, embox / DSBK / ndsbackup / Tape backup if any
3. -xk2 -xk3 the server and add the required replicas back. The following link will help to perform an -xk2 and -xk3 and in manually removing all replicas from a Server. See TID 7001592

Remove and reinstall DS and add required replicas back on the server if backup is not available. Restore trustee backup if required
