Situation

Symptoms:
ERROR: "NCS install failed to extend schema."
Unable to configure Cluster on OES2

Resolution

Workaround Steps:
This error message may be received if the password of the admin user contains special characters. Change the password of the admin user to anything that does not contain special characters.
For Example change P&ssw0rd to Passw0rd

Steps to Duplicate:
1. Install SLES 10 SP1
2. Install OES2 Add-On
3. Perform all the online updates
4. Change the admin password to p&ssw0rd
5. Try configuring cluster. It would give an error "NCS Install failed to
extend schema"
6. Change the password to Passw0rd
7. Try configuring Cluster. It works
