Environment

Novell ZENworks 10 Configuration Management

Situation

ERROR: "Java.Lang.NullPointerException" clicking on Patch Management Subscription page.
Upgrade from ZCM 10.0.1 or 10.0.2 to ZCM 10.0.3

Resolution

This is fixed in version 10.1 - see KB 7001200 "ZENworks 10 Configuration Management with SP1 (10.1)" which can be found at https://www.novell.com/support
Workaround:
  1. Stop Novell ZENworks Server Service
  2. delete the directory /share/tomcat/work/Catalina/localhost
  3. Re-start Novell ZENworks Server Service
  4. Let all the services come back up
  5. Relaunch ZCC
Issue should be resolved.
