Sent items not seen in Sent Items Folder

Environment

Novell GroupWise 7

Situation

After sending an email the email is not seen in the sent items folder.
Using Find to search for sent items does not find any.
The recipient receives the messages.

Resolution

Go to Tools > Options> Send > Mail.
Check the box Create a sent item to track information.
