Ndsd takes a long time to shutdown

Novell eDirectory 8.8.2 for Linux

Situation

After applying Security Services 2.0.5 to a SLES 9 or SLES 10 server, it takes more than 30 seconds to shutdown ndsd.The ndsd.log shows a warning message stating "WARNING: ndsd process is still running. Killing ndsd."

This has been reporting to Engineering.
