GroupWise 7 Support Pack 3 document management integrations are not automatcally installed for Microsoft Office 2007.

Novell GroupWise 7.0 Support Pack 3
Microsoft Word 2007
Microsoft Excel 2007

Situation

Symptoms:
GroupWise Client install with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel integrated.
Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel are disabled in the GroupWise Client Tools | Options | Documents | Integration after installing support pack 3 for the GroupWise Client.
This defect is related to support pack 3 for GroupWise 7.

Resolution

This issue has been fixed in the GroupWise 7.0.3 HP patch.  It can ve downloaded from Novell Downloads.
Workaround:
Manually add the GroupWise Document Management integrations by selecting Tools | Options | Documents | Integrations in the GroupWise Client.

Step to Duplicate:

1. In the SDD\client directory by default the setup.cfg is setup as follows:

[IntegrationApps]
Microsoft Excel=Yes
Microsoft Word=Yes
Microsoft PowerPoint=Yes
Corel Presentations=Yes
Corel Quattro Pro=Yes
Corel WordPerfect=Yes

2. Install the client.
3. Launch the GroupWise Client and check Tools | Options | Documents |
Integrations.

Word and Excel integrations are disabled.
The support pack 3 client can also be installed without the setup.cfg file and the failure will occur.
