Situation
The ZAM Linux client will initially install and contact the collection server. In the database there will be no inventory information for the machine.
In the /var/log/siupd.log file the following error can be seen:
"sysinfo package (/opt/zam/bin/InboxCC/mcsysinfo-6.0.2-H31-linux-x86.sh) is absent, aborting"
The package name is incorrect and so the automatic upgrade will not occur.

Resolution
Fixed in ZENworks Asset Management 7.5 Interim Release 12 or newer
Interim Releases can be scheduled to run automatically or can be downloaded manually at Novell Downloads The Interim releases can be set up within the ZAM Manager for the Task server to check the site on a scheduled basis, and download and apply them automatically. Please refer to the Help Section details of how to set up automatic downloads if desired.
Each interim release is cumulative. If Interim Release xx is not available due to a newer interim release being placed on the website, be assured that the code needed is in the later release.
