Howto Force kiosk mode for all Access Manager SSL VPN users

Environment

Novell Access Management 3 SSLVPN Server
Novell Access Management 3 Support Pack 3 applied

Situation

In SP3 administrator can configure kiosk mode for all users. This option is called ForceKiosk. This option is available in config.txt of servlet.
Administrator needs to modify this option manually. By default this option will be false, i,e mode selection is done at client side based upon the privilege
and service availability, If this option been made true then all users will be forced to use kiosk mode. For ActivX to be loaded with kiosk moed he has to be
an administrator.

Resolution

Make sure that nam3sp3.tar.gz patch is applied and that the following file on the SSLVPN server /var/opt/novell/tomcat4/webapps/sslvpn/WEB-INF/config.txt has the following line in the file:

ForceKiosk=true

Restart the tomcat engine after making the changes.
