Environment

Novell eDirectory 8.8 Support Pack 2 for NetWare 6.5

Situation

- NLDAP abends after upgrading to Novell Netware 6.5 Support Pack 7 and Novell eDirectory 8.8 Support Pack 2
- Third party software is monitoring the addition and deletion of Network Address attribute on user objects using LDAP Monitor Events Extension.

Resolution

The problem has been reported to Engineering and is under investigation. A possible workaround is to point the third party LDAP application to an eDirectory 8.7.3 Support Pack 9 or Support Pack 10 server(s).
