ndsd dumps core on SLES 9 servers

Environment

Novell eDirectory 8.7.3.9 for Linux (SLES 9)
Novell eDirectory 8.8 Support Pack 2 for Linux (SLES 9)

Situation

Novell eDirectory randomly crashes and creates core dumps on SLES 9 servers running eDirectory 8.7.3.9 and 8.8.2. No special operations seem to be causing this behavior.

Resolution

This problem has been reported to Engineering and is under investigation. There are currently no workarounds possible.
