Environment

Novell ZENworks 10 Configuration Management

Situation

After setting:
ZCC/Configuration/Inventory/Inventory/Include directories with recognized products to path
to add:
c:\pathname
executable files in pathname are not scanned.

Resolution

Path format requires trailing backslash, for example:
c:\pathname\
otherwise, c:\pathname will be interpreted as a specific file .

Status

Additional Information

When entering a path to Include, or Exclude, it must have a trailing backslash (\). c:\pathname would be interpreted as including a file named pathname located in c:\ . c:\pathname\ is interpreted as all files beneath c:\pathname .
This is different than the requirements for "Skip Directories" but due to the different use has different rules.
