Replying to email in WebAccess will redirect the user to first page of displayed emails when user is not on first page of displayed emails

Environment

Novell GroupWise WebAccess 7
Novell NetWare 6.5 Support Pack 6

Situation

Occurs when browsing through email pages in WebAccess.  After users browse a few
pages deep into the display of emails, the user chooses an email to reply to. Once the user sends
the reply WebAccess then redirects users back to the first page of the newest emails to be displayed.

Resolution

Fixed in GroupWise 8

Steps to duplicate:

1. Log into WebAccess. Should look something like the image below.

2. At the bottom of the page, there is an option to change the amount of emails to be displayed per page. For this example, due to the lack of emails to be displayed the number of emails to be displayed is changed. Change the display next number from 20 to 5. Click the Display next button. It will look something like the image below.

3. Now that the Display Next button has been clicked, Web Access will show the next 5 emails in the user's mailbox. Click the Display Next button to go another level deeper into the email view.
4. Click the Display Next button again to go an additional level deeper into the email view.
5. The user is now about 3 levels deep, user can go more if desired. At this point the user selects an email and replies and sends it.
6. The user is now redirected to the first level of emails, the newest or first five emails in the user's mailbox and not at the level where the user replied to the email selected. It will look something like the below image.
