Novell ZENworks 10 Configuration Management

Situation

How do you force a scan and enable debug on an inventory only device?

Resolution

Windows:
\program files\novell\zenworks\bin\zenumia.exe scannow
or
colw32 diagnostic offline
 
OS X:
usr/local/novell/zenworks/umia/zenumia.exe scannow
 
Non-Windows agent debug:
1. Stop the service:  /etc/init.d/zenumia stop
2. Open /etc/zenumia.conf
3. Add: Diagnostic="1"   to that file & save it.
4. Do a new scan:  /opt/novell/zenworks/umia/zenumia scannow
Debug log file:  /var/log/zenumiaEvent*.log
