Situation

Unable to login to Web Console and other Web Console Problems
Web Console is not working
Reports from Web Console are giving errors.
How do I patch the Tomcat server for ZAM.

Resolution

This procedure will replace your existing rtrlet.war file with the most recent version.

1. Stop the inventory process.
2. Stop Apache Tomcat service on the machine that you have Web Console installed to.
3. Delete the rtrlet folder (C:\Tomcat4\webapps\rtrlet)
4. Delete the rtrlet.war file (C:\Tomcat4\webapps\rtrlet.war)
5. Empty the recycle bin
6. Copy rtrlet.war from: \FILESTORE\EXEDir\WebConsoleUpdater\Win32 into C:\Tomcat4\webapps on the machine that you have Web Console installed to.
7. Restart apache tomcat service and wait at least 15 minutes before starting inventory process.
8. Look for a folder C:\Tomcat4\webapps\rtrlet\sql\mssql\finished\

9. Before restarting the inventory process, verify the following files exist:

a.) 3 files under the C:\Tomcat4\webapps\rtrlet\sql\mssql (if SQL database)

OR

b.) 2 files under the C:\Tomcat4\webapps\rtrlet\sql\oracle (if Oracle database)
