Additional Information
The "Location" information is stored in two databases; eDir and the
Managed Object Database (MOD). The MOD is comprised of a file
named psmdb.dat. For information on where this file is
stored, see KB 10092230.
iManager reads the Location information from eDir. The IPP page and the NRM report reads the Location information from the MOD.
There are two ways to get into the condition where the Location information is stored in eDir, but not the MOD.
1. NWAdmin
Adding the Location information using NWAdmin writes the data to eDir and not the MOD.
2. Printer Agent Generation Tool (PAGen.exe)
See KB 10092230 to better understand PAGen. When the MOD database (psmdb.dat) is regenerated using PAGen in the ASSOCIATE mode, eDir will retain the Location information in eDir, but it won't be present in the MOD.
