NMAS Radius cannot handle email addresses

Situation

It is desired to use an email attribute to authenticate using the NMAS Radius NLM.

Resolution

NMAS Radius version 4.14 (and previous versions) do not have the capability to handle email addresses as the authentication user name. As a result, the only work around is to utilize the FreeRADIUS package on OES or SUSE Linux platforms with a custom configuration.

It is not expected that the NMAS Radius package will contain the capabilities.
