ZAM collector does not distinguish between Open Office from Sun and OfficeOffice Novell Edition. Resolution
Fixed in
April 2007 PRU for version 2.0.4 and later.
Product Recognition Updates (PRU) can be scheduled to run automatically or can be downloaded manually at https://download.novell.com . PRU's can be set up within the ZAM Manager for the Task server to check the site on a scheduled basis, and download and apply them automatically. Please refer to the Help Section for details of how to set up automatic downloads if desired.
Each PRU is cumulative.
Additional Information
Recognition
has been added (in the April 2007 PRU) for the Novell
Edition of OpenOffice.org 2.0.4. You will see both the suite
and its components. The suite will show as version 2.0. Components
promote to version 2.0.4. Versions of the Novell Edition of
OpenOffice.org prior to version 2.0.4 are not
recognized.
You currently will not see recognition for Sun Microsystems OpenOffice.org 2.0. The recognition for Sun Microsystems OpenOffice.org 2.1 and 2.2 was added within the May 2007 PRU. This recognition will be for the Sun Microsystems OpenOffice.org 2.1 and 2.2 suites, and not the individual components.
