EPOMIB.MIB fails to compile.

Environment

Novell ZENworks 6.5 Server Management - ZfS65.
Novell Management and Monitoring Services.
Novell MIB Tool Administration.

Situation

EPOMIB.MIB fails to compile.
Error: "Compiling :epomib.mib...LINK ERROR: EventDescription MIBCERR148: Undefined identifier: Ensure the identifier ( EventDescription ) is included in the MIB from where it is accessed, or is included among the IMPORTED MIBS, or check the identifier spelling."
Error: "Linking...

LINK ERROR: TVDMIB MIBCERR150: Undefined IMPORTS:
The MIB Definitions importing the TVDMIB are:

The MIB variables IMPORTED from TVDMIB in the EPO-MIB are:

OPTION 1:
Replace the IMPORTED TVDMIB with TVD-MIB in the above MIB definitions.

Ensure that the missing module TVDMIB is being compiled.

Resolution

This is fixed in the EPOMIB.MIB dated 9/7/2004 (6,475 bytes) available for download on the ZENworks Coolsolutions Tools download page (third_party_vendor_mibs.zip, in the nai-mib.zip; https://www.novell.com/coolsolutions/tools/14180.html. EPOMIB.MIB related/required MIBs are included in NAI-MIBS.ZIP.

Additional Information

Compile TVDMIB.MIB (176,141 bytes) from McAfee first. Verify the TVD alarms are in the Alarm Dispostion Table.
Changes made to the EPOMIB.MIB:

1.MIB Module name is TVD-MIB and not TVDMIB.
2.There is is EventDescriptions defined in the MIB but the trap had EventDescription.
3.Display-String changed to DisplayString.
