ZENworks 7 Middle Tier install appears to break Apache on SLES

Novell ZENworks Desktop Management 7 - ZDM7 Middle Tier

Situation

ERROR: Syntax error /etc/opt/novell/httpd/confd/xsrv.conf
ERROR: Cannot load /opt/novell/xtier/lib/mod_xsrv.so
ERROR: Cannot open shared object file

Errors occur on a SLES 9 64 bit server machine when attempting to start Apache
Errors occur on a SLES 9 64 bit server machine after ZENworks 7 Middle Tier is installed

Resolution

ZENworks 7 Middle Tier is not supported on a SLES 9 64 bit machine. Re-install a SLES 9 32 bit machine and then install ZENworks 7 Middle Tier to the SLES 9 32 bit server machine.

ZENworks 7 Middle Tier is planned to be supported on SLES 9 64 bit machines when ZENworks 7 with Support Pack 1 is available.
