Novell eDirectory 8.7.3.9 FTF2 for All Platforms
Situation
Error: -785 in dstrace\ndstrace. The errors are on partition root attributes.
If a repair is run the following can be seen in the log:

Resolution
This was due to truncation of an attribute in DS. In flaim the attribute was unlinked from the object therefore a repair would strip this attribute from the partition root object as well as all attributes after it. This would only occur on the master replicas.
This is resolved in the latest release of eDirectory for 8.73 and 8.8.
To obtain the latest version please go to https://dl.netiq.com and search within the appropriate dropdown for your version of eDirectory, either eDirectory 8.8 SP5 or 8.7.3 SP10.
To resolve this object please perform the following steps:
1. Install eDirectory 8.7.3 SP10 or 8.8 SP5.
2. Normal sychronization from the read-write replicas will replace these lost attributes. If these need to be replaced in a more timely fashion you may perform a "Send entry to all replicas" using the advanced options in iMonitor on a read-write replica that contains them.
