Environment
Novell Access Management 3 Linux Novell Identity Server
Novell Access Management 3 Linux Access Gateway
Novell Access Management 3 SSLVPN Server
SSLVPN client host running on SLED
Novell SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop 10
Situation
Setup an IDP server with SSLVPN services running on same host. The
Linux Access gateway was used to accelerate the SSLVPN server.
Users could access the SSLVPN accelerator on the Linux Access
Gateway, authenticate to the IDP server and successfully 'connect'
to the SSLVPN server - the success message was displayed in the
SSLVPN login page.
As soon as an application was launched e.g. typing any command (ex: ftp, ssh) in the shell gives the following error:
"Error while loading shared libraries: /tmp//root/libdsocks.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory"
...and the connection is dropped.

Resolution
Make sure that SLED or any SSLVPN client host is running on 32-bit
machines. In this case, the users were running on 64-bit SLED
machines and the problem occured. There is a plan to support 64-bit
host machines in future releases.
