Network File Portlet Upload Fails on Windows 2003

Environment

Novell Identity Manager 3.01 User Application
jBoss 4.0.3
Microsoft Windows 2003 server
Microsoft Active Directory
Internet Explorer v6.x
Firefox v1.5.0.6.

Situation

When uploading a file using the Network File portlet, an "Invalid file handle" exception is thrown.
The problem occurs only when accessing Windows 2003 Enterprise Server through Common Internet File System (CIFS) provider.
The jBoss console displays a "java.io.IOException: Unverifiable Signature" when uploading or attempting to open/read a file.
The problem only occurs with Microsoft Windows 2003 server running Active Directory.

Resolution

This has been reported to be a bug within Novell Identity Manager 3.0.1.
This problem will be fixed in a future release of Novell Identity Manager.
