Communication Error when using SERVINST.NLM against large DIBs

Environment

Novell ZENworks 7 Server Management - ZSM7 Management and Monitoring Service

Situation

Server hangs when trying to unload SERVINST module.
 
DIB set is larger than 10GB in size.
 
ConsoleOne receives an error when selecting the OS and services of the server.
 
ERROR: Communication Error - (Failed to communicate with the device) Possible causes are:
  1. The device is down or not responding
  2. The community strings are not correct
  3. The network is slow or unresponsive

Resolution

Fixed in ZSM7 SP1 IR1 or later found at Novell Download.
