"Choose the network device" with Imaging on a PC with 2 NICs

Situation

If a machine has two NICs both active and connected to different subnets, (one with a DHCP server the other subnet not) then LINUXRC prompts with "Choose the network device."

Resolution

For ZDM7: Fixed in ZENworks 7 Desktop Management Service Pack 1 Interim Release 4 Hot Patch 1, available at https://download.novell.com

For ZDML7: Fixed in ZENworks 7 Desktop Management on Linux Service Pack 1 Interim Release 4 Hot Patch 1. available at https://download.novell.com

For ZLM 7.3: This is fixed in ZLM 7.3 Hot Patch 2 - see KB 7003346 "Updates to Novell ZENworks 7.3 Linux Management" which can be found at https://www.novell.com/support

For ZCM 10.2 This is fixed in version 10.2.2 - see TID 7004803"ZENworks 10 Configuration Management 10.2.2 - update information and list of fixes" which can be found at https://www.novell.com/support
