ZDM Inventory database migration fails with error ORA-30019

Environment

Novell ZENworks for Desktops 4.0.1 - ZfD4.0.1 Inventory
Novell ZENworks 7 Desktop Management on Linux Support Pack 1 - ZDML7 SP1 Inventory

Situation

Inventory database migration fails.

Error: "Could not do the operation. details:ORA-30019: Illegal rollback Segment operation in Automatic Undo mode ErrorCode:30019 "

Resolution

Options to resolve the issue:

1) Comment out UNDO_MANAGEMENT=AUTO in the INIT.ORA file ( \ZENWORKS\INVENTORY\ORACLE\DATABASE\INIT.ORA ), or change it back to the default, required value of MANUAL .

2) Restart the Inventory and Database server(s).

Additional Information

The INIT.ORA file ( \ZENWORKS\INVENTORY\ORACLE\DATABASE\INIT.ORA ) setting UNDO_MANAGEMENT=MANUAL is AUTO . MANUAL is the default mode for the install of all ZENworks versions and is required.
