Situation

This server contains a 128 bit NICI Encryption engine.

This Support Pack does not contain the same level of Encryption. In order to upgrade thus serve, you must obtain a 128 bit version of the Support Pack.
Unable to apply SP4

Resolution

Copy the support pack to a local volume, such as SYS.

Additional Information

The customer had copied the support pack to a shared volume. During the installation process one of the actions of the support pack is to unload/stop all services that id doesn't not require or that need to be stopped in order to apply the patch, this includes Novell Clustering Services. Once the shared volume is no longer available the support pack installation routine is unable to access the data it needs and throws up this error message.
