Imaging rules break after applying Support Pack 1

Situation

Scenario 1:
Imaging rule contains a video set to "Intel Corporation Unknown device 0x2782" as part of the rule.
PXE detects the rule and downloads the kernel after which the imaging engine returns "no work to do".
Scenario 2:
Imaging rules set to what the SUSE kernel detects as the video "Intel Corporation 82915G Express Chipset Family Graphics Controller", PXE returns error no work and exits the PXE process.
No initrd or linux files downloaded.
Scenario 3:
Unable to"put an image on this workstation on next boot" via the workstation object after upgrading to ZENworks 7 SP1.

Resolution

Fixed in ZENworks 7 Desktop Management Service Pack 1 Interim Release 3a, see KB 3484245 "Updates to Novell ZENworks 7 Desktop Management" which can be found at Novell Support

A workaround to Scenario 3 above is to select the box "Use this image, instead of the effective policy image or multicast session". Selecting this box will force the automatic PXE boot process to look at the properties of the workstation object, instead of reading any efective imaging rules.
