Unable to install SecureLogin - InstallShield error -6001

Setup has experienced an error.

Please do the following:

- Close any running programs.

- Empty your temporary folder.

- Check your Internet connection (Internet-based Setups)

Then try to run Setup again.

Error code: -6001

SecureLogin will not run the Setup executable. It keeps giving these errors and suggestions above.

None of the suggestions offered by InstallShield help resolve the problem.

The error is an InstallShield specific error. If you search InstallShield's web site, a -6001 has the following meaning:

-6001 Failed starting the setup launcher.

InstallShield is installed on the local workstation. Sometimes it can become corrupted. You can delete and/or rename the location where the local copy of InstallShield is located and then re-run the Novell SecureLogin setup. The local InstallShield location is typically found at:

\Program Files\Common Files\InstallShield\Professional\Runtime\\
