Situation
Out of the box, the Organization Chart is the default page that
displays after users log in to the Identity Manager User
Application. How can this page be changed, do something other
than the Organization Chart?
Resolution
To change the initial page that users will see you should do the
following:
1. Log into the User Application as an Admin user.
2. Choose the Administration tab
3. Choose the Page Admin tab
4. Choose the Maintain Container Pages link
5. Under the General Category, select
DefaultContainerPage
6. On the right, under Page Properties, you will see a
setting for Default Container Page. You will see that
Organization Chart is the default shared page listed there
7. Choose the Select Default link and you will window
that asks you to Choose a Default Shared Page for
DefaultContainerPage. Click on the page you want as your
default and then click on the Save button on the bottom of the
page.
8. Back on the Page Properties for the Default Container
Page, click on the Save Page button at the bottom.
9. Now, when uses log into the User Application, they
will be presented to the new Shared Page instead of the
Organizational Chart.
