Variables are not resolved for user associated load balancing application with multiple sources

Novell ZENworks Desktop Management 7 - ZDM7 Application Launcher (NAL)

Situation

When an application is associated to a workstation object, and a macro with load balancing and/or fault tolerance source list is used, the variable gets resolved to the source that was used.

If that application is associated to the user, it will not resolve to the source picked, but will always resolve to the one defined in the macros tab.

Resolution

Fixed in ZENworks 7 Desktop Management Service Pack 1 Interim Release 3a, see KB 3484245 "Updates to Novell ZENworks 7 Desktop Management" which can be found at Novell Support
