The xml attribute illegally evaluated to null in iManager

To duplicate in iManager: Select Auditing and Logging | Logging Server Options | select Logging Server | Log Applications tab | Identity Manager Instrumentation (when importing the IDM .lsc file it can be named whatever you choose so this may be named different) | Events

The dirxml.lsc file has a line that looks like: 3,DirXML,Novell DirXML Events,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

This line needs to be modified to look like: 0003,DirXML,Novell DirXML Events,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Once modified, the dirxml.lsc file needs to be reimported through: iManager | Auditing and Logging | Logging Server Options | select Logging Server | Log Applications tab | select the old IDM instrumentation | Application Actions - Delete. Then import the modified dirxml.lsc file by selecting the Applications container | Application Actions - new.

Furture versions of the dirxml.lsc file should already include this change.
