Environment

Novell BorderManager 3.8
BM38SP5.EXE applied
VPN Client 3.8.x

Situation

The NMAS authentication failed. Could not find the NMAS DLL/dependant DLL's
After upgrade to VPN client 3.8.x, when trying to establish the vpn tunnel, the above error is seen.

Resolution

1. Uninstall nmas

2. Install nmas manually out of the of the latest Netware Client32 patch.

Additional Information

If you install the vpn 3.8.x over you existing client and you did check the checkbox for nmas, you can run into this issue.
