Situation
With either Novell Access Manager or iChain fronting the User
Application, not all users were able to Single Sign-on into the
User Application 3.0.1. The users were being prompted to
login to the User Application. If they logged in again at
this point, they were presented with the User Application
Portal.
This behavior does not occur with all Users.
This does not occur if the "problem" users access the User Application directly. It only occurs when using either Access Manager or iChain.

Resolution
The users that were experiencing this problem had a special
character (i.e.: !, &, @, ..etc) in their password. This
is a bug in the redirect area of the User Application.
This bug is not reproducible in version 3.5 of the Novell User
Application.
