Situation
While importing a driverset and drivers from a live server using Designer running on Windows Vista. Once you start browsing the live server for the objects, it becomes very slow to respond.
Resolution
CAUSE: Windows Vista has a new feature called "TCP Auto Tuning". Ifthere is a device between the source and the destination that doesn'tsupport RFC 1323 *TCP Extensions for High Performance*. You mayexperience dropped packets.
FIX: On the Windows Vista machine. Enter the following at a commandprompt to disable "TCP Auto Tuning". netsh interface tcp set globalautotuninglevel=disabled
